Bella Vista on Lake Palestine will be hosting a fundraiser Thursday evening to help those impacted the tornado that moved through the area in late May. 

The venue, located at 22525 State Highway 155 South in Flint, will hold an Independence Day Festival from 3 to 10 p.m. with beach fun, music and a fireworks show. Proceeds from the ticket sales and any extra sales at the event will go toward the tornado relief fund of Lake Palestine. 

“Homes were damaged, businesses were affected, and many of our neighbors are in urgent need of support,” the event description reads. “To help those impacted, we’re dedicating this year’s event to raise funds and provide aid to the tornado victims.”

Tickets can be purchased online here. Adults cost $25, but the at-the-door price is $30. Kids between ages 5 and 17 cost $10 and children ages 4 and under are free.
