The Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival: Summer Sessions slated for July 13 at Bader Field has been canceled due to low ticket sales, event organizer Jon Henderson announced Thursday.

“Due to poor ticket sales, the July 13 Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival is canceled. I know some of you folks who purchased your tickets are disappointed. We are too,” Henderson, who has hosted the event since 2006, said on Facebook. “Unfortunately July 13 just wasn’t clicking so we’re canceling.”

Refunds are currently being processed for those who already bought tickets online. Those who purchased tickets in person, at Vagabond in Atlantic City, can stop by Vagabond for their refund.

The July session of the festival was the second planned beer and music event for the group this year. It held a Spring session back in April at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

This is the first time the beer and music festival has been cancelled since 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The festival features hundreds of different craft beers, plus live music, live cooking demonstrations, comedy and more.

“We appreciate you all for your support and we’ll catch you at the next one,” Henderson said.

Henderson is the founder and CEO of Good Time Tricycle Productions, an event planning organization.

Henderson said his company suffered a significant loss with the cancellation but he did not disclose a dollar amount.

”We promise an exciting return to the festival in 2025. Cheers,” the post read.
