In a Twitch livestream at the end of 2023, Malone confirmed the rumors about a potential country album, although specific details are yet to be announced.

Fans eagerly anticipating more country music from Post Malone were delighted by his recent duet with Morgan Wallen, “I Had Some Help,” which shattered records upon its release on May 10.

Building on these surprising country ventures, Post Malone is now teasing a new country track with none other than Blake Shelton!

On Thursday, May 23, Malone posted a teaser of a lively, upbeat track in collaboration with Blake Shelton, featuring lyrics about enjoying a Friday night.

“Somebody pour me a drink /
Somebody bum me a smoke /
I’m ’bout to get on a buzz /
I’m ’bout to get on a roll.

I’ve been breaking my back /
Just keepin’ up with the Joneses /
Y’all know what I mean /
Y’all know how it goes.”

Gwen Stefani, Shelton’s wife, playfully chimed in, commenting:

“Can’t handle this much cool and cute!! Super fan alert!”

Blake Shelton then posted a video on social media, showing him enjoying Malone’s video and grooving to the yet-to-be-named song while sipping from a plastic cup.

The comments section of Shelton’s video was filled with excitement from fans, expressing their anticipation for the forthcoming collaboration.

“Yesss this is the pairing we all need!! Love this song!!!”
“STOP IM SO EXCITED it sounds so good.”
“I’m speechless and screaming all at the same time my two favorite.”
“OMG I love this. I’m so here for this collab.”
“This was not on my bingo card this year but I’m so excited!!!”

This new song marks yet another track in Malone’s recent transition from rap to country.
